Two day Improvised Rope Rescue Workshop
There are times when climbing and mountaineering don’t always go as smoothly as it was planned. Having the right tools in your pocket can often get you out of a tricky situation, or possibly save someone from great harm. Our two-day workshop runs through a number of rope rescue techniques, which will give you the tools and skills needed to get you out of the most tricky situations us climbers encounter at the crag.
Our instructor-to-student ratio will never be more than 2:1, so our students get our full undivided attention throughout both days.

Tying off various types of belay plates
Hoist systems (assisted & unassisted)
Escaping various systems
Lowering past the knot,
Prusiking up a rope
Problem-solving
Traverse rescues
Abseiling off an injured climber

PREREQUISITES
Previous experience lead climbing on trad routes is essential.
